We all know and love the holiday classics: gingerbread, pecans, pumpkin, cranberry, apple pie, among others. Although classics are just that for a reason, sometimes it’s fun to play around with the time-old flavors and create something new. Think: apple pie in salsa form, gingerbread that you can spread, and chai shrimp! Read on for the recipes and let us know which you decide to try!

Apple Pie Salsa and Snickerdoodle Tortilla Chips

We never would have imagined apple pie salsa in our wildest dreams, so thank goodness this blogger did! This is the perfect sweet snack to serve up at your next party with some easy cinnamon sugar tortilla chips!

Cranberry-Mint Chutney

Combine the cranberry and mint flavors of the season into a delicious chutney! To make it, bring 1 cup cranberries, 3/4 cup each sugar and water, 1/2 cup dried cranberries and a pinch of salt to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium; simmer until the berries pop and the chutney thickens, 10 minutes; cool slightly. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped cranberries, 1/4 cup chopped mint and 2 tablespoons cider vinegar.

Pumpkin Hummus

We can’t be the only ones who are obsessed with hummus! Enjoy a seasonal pumpkin hummus dip as a side or incorporate it into your main dish!

Chai-Brined Shrimp Skewers

You’ve probably heard of chai tea, desserts and coffee, but have you ever thought of using it as a brine? Your party guests will go wild over these shrimp skewers that have a surprising holiday taste!

Pecan Crusted Pork Chops with Apple Chutney

Step aside, pecan pie, we have a new favorite: pecan crusted pork chops! These pork chops are made even better with an apple chutney on top, perfecting that warm seasonal flavor!

Apple Pie Juice

We’re big fans of juicing with the Magimix Juice Extractor Attachment, especially when it tastes as good as this apple pie juice does! Chock-full of vitamins, fiber and antioxidants, this juice tastes like something you could’ve just pulled out of the oven! It’s perfect served warm or cold on a brisk winter day.

Just toss a sweet potato, 2 carrots, 1 apple, and 1 celery stalk into your juicer attachment and then add a pinch of apple pie spice after juicing the other ingredients!

Eggnog is the ultimate holiday classic, which is why we were so excited to discover this eggnog and dried fruit bread pudding! Bread pudding reminds us of cozying up with a “whatever we can find in the pantry” dessert on chilly winter nights!

Gingerbread almond butter

Not that you can ever be too old to make gingerbread houses, but if you decide you don’t want to pull out the cookie molds, try this gingerbread almond butter for an alternate flavor match!

Although almonds can be a tougher nut than others, the blades on your your Magimix Food Processor are powerful enough to grind them into a smooth paste without a hitch. You can make it with raw organic or roasted nuts, or even try soaking the nuts overnight (8-12 hours) and dehydrating them in your L’Equip Filterpro Food Dehydrator before blending into butter for an enhanced nutty flavor!

Candy Cane Cheesecake

With the best stand mixer from Bosch on your side, you can bake up this delightful, festive candy cane cheesecake to serve to 12-16 people at your next holiday gathering. Crush up all those candy canes you’ve got lying around for an equally pretty and tasty topping for your cheesecake!
